Hi, we’re some of the librarians of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. One or another of us are interested in Tai Chi, gardening, quilting, children (our own or others), traveling, but mostly we share a love of the written word.
We love new books fresh off the presses, old books that have been treasured by generations of readers, blogs, tweets, e-readers, journals, newspapers and the back of cereal boxes when we can’t find anything else.
We also love to talk about reading and would to hear from you!
Hi! I am working with a Jewish author who is releasing her YA novel Brooklyn Love this month – I’d love to send along to see if you might participate on her virtual book tour! Would you be able to contact me?
Thank you so much!
Hi Sami,
We don’t collect YA novels at HUC. If you haven’t already, I would suggest you send one to the Association of Jewish Libraries for review (http://www.jewishlibraries.org/main/) You might also want to contact other members of the Jewish book carnival (see some of our earlier posts, or look on the AJL page)
good luck!
I would love to be an author interviewed for this blog [which I never knew existed until I saw the posting on Facebook]. Ditto, if you want to review RAV HISDA’S DAUGHTER, I can you send a galley.
