Headshot of Michele Prince

Michele Prince is the Director of the Department of Volunteer Services at Cedars-Sinai, managing over 2,000 volunteers, 12 staff members, and dozens of creative programs bringing emotional support and compassion to the medical center. Most recently, Michele was CEO of OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center in Los Angeles. An oncology social worker and non-profit professional, Michele moved into the world of volunteer management, behavioral health, and bereavement support after a career in marketing. Michele loved returning to school as an adult, completing her MSW at USC and MAJCS at HUC. A few years after graduating from HUC, she returned to direct the College’s Kalsman Institute on Judaism and Health. Michele is determined to use her combined clinical and business skills to help nurture a new generation of non-profit professionals. She loves to hike, throw pottery, and explore LA’s museums and parks. Michele was recently featured on Cedars-Sinai’s blog and in the Santa Monica Spotlight magazine, to learn more about her. She is reachable at mfprince@huc.edu.
